Victim Services of Haldimand - Norfolk-New Credit offer a 24 hour, 7 day a week, crisis support, practical assistance, information and referral program to victims of crime, tragic circumstance and disaster.

Help When It Is Needed
Victim Services is a community based, volunteer driven, organization of volunteer crisis support workers who are trained to provide much needed support to victims in their time of need.
Emergency response personal may call on the program to provide immediate assistance or may be recommend that the victim call the agency at a later date.
We offer victims one-on-one assistance to help deal with the problems arising from a criminal or traumatic incident or situation.
Our representatives work closely with community agencies to provide an efficient and comprehensive service to ensure that the needs of each victim are properly met.
We provide Mobile Emergency Response System (MERS) alarms to those at high risk of domestic violence and sexual assault. We provide immediate financial compensation to victims of the most violent crimes for counselling, funeral and emergency expenses through the Victim Quick Response Program (VQRP).
Victim Services is an inclusive service that supports a diverse range of victims and their families. In the philosophy of a no wrong door policy, Victim Services administers the provision of services to victims, and facilitates victim service programs. We provide education, information about the criminal justice system, crime prevention strategies, practical help, emotional first aid, advocacy and referrals. We take the leadership role, in developing partnerships, to build and maintain healthier communities.
